I'd much have preferred Ichigo get paired with Rukia, but in all honesty I really don't care. The show ends at the Soul Society for me.

I'd much have preferred Ichigo get paired with Rukia, but in all honesty I really don't care. The show ends at the Soul Society for me. Pros for Orihime: She is alive. She has nice boobs. |

That is literally the basis for the entire show. Ichigo saves Rukia, Ichigo saves Orihime... it is over 200 episodes of Ichigo trying to save a girl he has a thing for. |

Because Ichigo has all the personality of a sack of wet cardboard, and the side characters were much more interesting? I mean, Kubo didn't even like Ichigo. I'm pretty sure there was a solid year where he didn't even show up in the manga.
It's all kind of a moot point though. Kubo can't write for shit so it was always gonna be disappointing.

Because Kubo had a rich cast of characters he never developed. Always dangled it in our faces, but failed to ever make anything very interesting beyond excellent character designs. I spit on its grave.
