i wrote 4 hours straight then lost all my work because my tablet didnt sync correctly with my phone. shit like that makes it even harder. so i trudge along. the rewrite was no where near as good.

Damn, that sucks! Maybe write your initial drafts on paper... that's what I tend to do when writing stuff.

yah i have 4 notebooks i write in but i was also writing on my phone and tablet on the same app that syncs the two. this isnt the first time i lost my writing to the app. the app was good because i could just copy and paste parts of my novel and then just edit it instead of transcribing handwritten stuff.... but i guess i just have to do that. losing hours of work when i can barely find time to write is no longer feasible.

The tablet didn't save anything? Technology's unreliability sucks, similar pros and cons when it comes to doing artwork on paper vs all computer.
Power to ya, the stories inside me tend to just be bowel movements.

The best way to write is to write.
Hell, that's probably the only way.

Practice makes perfect, but above all else, type everything out on a format that saves it, or at least make an outline of how the story will unfold.

Pen to paper is most reliable. I can't type fast enough to remember my ideas. It's gotta be paper. Who the fuck am I kidding. I'm not writing anymore. The stories stay in my head so I can have something to think about when people talk to me. Keep on writing fuggs. Don't give up. You do and you might turn into an old bitter bitch like me
