To start a simple dice game or single thread game, you can go ahead and post it if you want. or wait til you get a few people together that want to play.
You can start elims in this folder, or any kind of game really. The "game list" is simply a collection of established game rule sets that are playable on a message board. Try em out or something.
If you'd like to run a more complex game, post here and we'll set you up.
You'll be given a special "Gamemaster" permission set that will allow you to run a game more easily, and a folder specific to your game. It'll then be up to you to configure your game, how to handle character creation and explain the rules set you will use, etc. You can make OOC (out of character) threads in your game folder as well for out of character questions and discussion.
You can make a single thread where you conduct your ongoing game, or several threads. It's basically up to you how you set up your game session folder.
Often, much like tabletop, PBP (Play By Post) games are also run on an agreed upon night at an agreed upon time. Gaming groups most usually meet weekly. But you can set your game up to meet more often, less often, or not at all, choosing instead to just play as people are able to post.
There are lots of options.
Anyhow, if you'd like to run a game on the board, post here and we'll set it up. If you have any questions, requests, etc, please feel free to post those too.
