I chose the Devil and Jason, but I also liked him as Ben from Dr. Katz. After I posted the thread, I realized I forgot about Ben Katz. Oh well.

I voted the devil, but my favorite is probably Jon Benjamin has a Van. Sure, he was playing himself . . kinda. At any rate, that show was great! Too bad it got cancelled so quickly. When it was new and airing, Jon and most of the main cast went out on tour just as they found out it was cancelled. Good for them for not bailing on the tour. I saw a show and it was pretty hysterical. Nathan Fielder was there and he was great. I also filmed the show that night. . good stuff. I don't think I ever saw Jon Benjamin Has a Van, but I was aware of it.

I liked him as Shake too. Oddly enough, I did not like him as Shake at all. He seemed all wrong for that part, imo. He didn't play him as an asshole, sarcastic, smart ass, etc. Though that could've been a fault of the writing as well. H. Jon Benjamin and T. Pain played the characters so differently than the source material, I was just like "WTF?" the whole time watching that episode. To me the only good thing about it was the guest Carl, who did a great job.

Gonna go with McGuirk if only because he's what got me into H. Jon Benjamin Yeah, that's a big reason I picked McGuirk too.

Maybe some of you Cubs fans can shed some light on this for me... I was watching MLB network, and they showed footage of Bill Murray singing Take Me Out to the Ball Game at Wrigley Field last night... and he injected a lot of Sylvester the Cat-isms in it. Does anyone know why he did that? Did Harry Carey do that back in the day? Does Bill Murray just love Sylvester as much as he loves the Cubs? What's the deal?

Pick as many answers as you like.
I'm sure there are some more obscure roles of his I don't know about, so bear with me if your favorite is not in the poll. Also I only did characters who were in the main or supporting cast, so no Moth Monster Man or anything.
Anyway, I'm going with McGuirk and Bob Belcher.

When the Cleveland Show comes on it makes me wish I was the deaf kid. I don't think it's nearly as bad as people make it out to be. I don't think it's great, but I enjoy it.

It's "Closer". He's obviously not completely deaf so I don't think it's far fetched for him to know how the song goes. Ah yes, Closer. Thank you.

"You bastard!" "You fool!" "This can't be!" "But how!?" "Tch!" "HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!?" "Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaka!" "Dear boy!" "This is my destiny!" Those are some good ones.

I can just imagine kids getting on the school bus after school, and playing the Switch on the ride home, and then they get home and go straight to plugging it in to the main console without missing a beat.

I honestly thought about buying a ticket but 3 grand plus the 8 hour drive and then finding a hotel..... if they go up 3-1 I may drive up there just to experience the possible celebration. One of my classmates is from Chicago, and he said he wishes he still lived there so he could go to one of the games. I'm like, "it's probably pretty expensive though" and he was like, "Yeah, but I'd spend the money for that." I think he was underestimating just how expensive those tickets are/were going to be, but I let it go. Most ASMBers who know me know I'm a huge SF Giants fan, but I wouldn't go to a Giants World Series game unless a) the tickets were given to me for free or b) I'm rich as fuck so who cares about the cost. And that includes the 2010, 2012, 2014, and any future WS the Giants may play in.

I'm not that big of an anime watcher, as if an anime has never aired on Adult Swim, chances are I've never seen it. But even limiting myself to Adult Swim anime, I have noticed a few lines that seem to appear in every anime:
"Impossible!"
"What did you just say?!"
"...once and for all!"
What are some other cliche lines that seem to appear in every anime?

Every time I watch the pre/post game shows on MLB network, I keep wondering if Pete Rose had a stroke some time in his past. Like his mouth kinda sags on one side and it seems to affect his speech. I looked on his wikipedia page and saw no mention of a stroke or any other health problems.

I used to love Inuyasha. For one, because the early ep where Kagome breaks down crying wishing she'd never met him because the rejection hurt too much reminded me of how I felt a year or two earlier getting rejected by a girl I had a huge crush on. Other than that, I also really liked the humor that resulted from their sexual tension a lot.
Why did I stop giving a shit about it? Because the plot completely stalled for EVER. Every fucking episode was encounter a random demon that had nothing to do with anything, and kill it. Nothing moving the plot of Inuyasha's and Kagome's love along. Nothing moving the plot of Inuyasha vs Naraku along. Nothing moving the plot of collecting the jewel shards along. It was just so pointless and so tedious, and went on FOREVER. I think I stopped watching around episode 100. I'd have to assume none of the main plots even resumed until The Final Act. When AS started airing it, I tried watching it a couple times, but I just couldn't give a shit, so I quickly dropped it.
I only saw a little of Reign: The Conqueror on AS, but what little I saw I liked. I find it funny how so many guys on the boards couldn't get past the skimpy clothes the male characters wore. It's like, you see bare cocks in porn all the time and love it (and so many guys HATE porn withOUT cocks! Straight guys, too!), and then there's pro wrestling with half naked muscle-bound men all over that a lot of guys like, but a little animated man-thong threatens your sexuality that much? Seriously, it seemed like every single male on the boards hated it, and the one and only complaint I ever read about it was the clothes. What I saw had a really interesting (if hard to understand) plot, and cool music.

I literally slept all day yesterday, so I missed the game. >_> Looking at the box score, wow. Looks like Kershaw is finally performing in the playoffs how he usually does during the regular season.

Welp, I'm rooting for the Cubs now. Welcome to the dark side... you know have to avoid making eye contact with any Goats you come across for the remainder of the Cubs post season. I don't know the goat thing. I saw someone in the crowd during the NLDS wearing a goat mask, but I have no idea what it's supposed to mean. Also, yay, Cubs win! Also, just going by this postseason, but it seems Aroldis Chapman isn't very effective when trying to get a 6 out save.

Yeah it was a mistake to pull the starting pitcher the bullpen blew it but it was bound to happen they had been bad all year sucks for them but they had their chance I don't think Bochy was wrong in pulling out Mat Moore. He had like 120 pitches on the night. In the age of the pitch count, there's really no reason to leave a pitcher in longer than that unless they have a no-hitter going, I think. Also it wasn't the full year that the bullpen had been bad. Their (former) closer Santiago Casilla had been bad all year, but the rest of the bullpen didn't go south until the second half.

Well I just saw the most massive 9th inning bullpen melt down I've ever seen in my life.
*commits seppuku*
Also, I put this one squarely on Brandon Crawford. One bonehead error caused the 2nd run for the cubs, which should never have scored, and his second bonehead error in the 9th allowed the inning to continue when the score was tied 5-5, instead of getting the inning ending double play. If not for those two errors, the Giants would've won 5-4.

The Giants' backs are against the wall, but they've been through this in two separate series in the 2012 playoffs and still came out on top. I think they have a chance, albeit a slim one.
