Part III because of the 80's campiness and the hokey 3D gimmick.

I love fighting games, but I'm usually not as good at many of them. The only ones I'm genuinely amazing at are the Tekken games with Asuka Kazama & Xiaoyu, and Street Fighter Third Strike with Elena.
I have alot of fun with Q-Bee and Hsien-ko in the Darkstalkers games, Filia and Eliza in Skullgirls, random teams in the KoF series (any team I can make with King or Vanessa), Street Fighter IV with Ibuki & Makoto, the Guilty Gear games with Baiken or Ramlethal, and Persona 4 Arena with Naoto, Mitsuru, and Elizabeth. Smash Bros 3DS with Sheik, Robin, and Palutena's great too.
Sadly, I feel like aside from Tekken, I haven't gotten too successful with tourney fighting and need to work on my sodium because I tend to rep for alot of characters outside of the top tier lists and don't do good in online matches.

I'm pumped up for Yakuza 6. Poor Kazuma keeps on having to be dragged out of retirement (this time by Beat Takeshi), but Yakuza 5 is greater than great, and the amount of content they're putting in this is insane. Looks like a great sendoff for the Dragon of Dojima.

I'm actually pumped up for Tekken 7. They always step up the graphics with every new game, and this one has Heihachi's pissed off wife as a boss character. Tag 2 left a great impression on me too in fixing the flaws from 6, so here's to hoping that 7 will be on par with Tag 2 and 5.

This a thousand times. I got addicted to Jet Set Radio when they first made the HD version for PS3 and PC, and I've been jonesing for more since. I'm really hoping eventually they'll get to it so it's not original Xbox exclusive.

The Pillows and Nujabes were amazing when I was first starting to get back into anime, but I'd definitely thank anime for exposing me to m-flo and Coaltar of the Deepers. I'm sure there's a dozen more bands I could list, but those two along with the two you listed stand out the most for me.

Yeah, I kept up with half of it last year and marathoned the episodes I missed a couple weeks ago. I liked how many callbacks to the story and style from Evil Dead 2-3 were in the TV series in a way that doesn't make it feel outdated. It ws also a ton of fun to see Ash in action again so I'm looking forward to how Season 2 will come about.

Yeah, the characters are more likable in Kabaneri, but things start to get rushed once Bieber shows up sometime after the midpoint. They've got it streaming on Amazon Prime, but if there's a will to watch it, there's a way.

Or better yet, delay it for a shorter and shorter period every time. Here it's a two month delay, but the next announcement in December should say that it's been delayed by one month, then one week, then one day, then one hour, then one minute, and then finally outright cancel it at the last second by saying they didn't have enough time to complete it so they had to scrap it altogether.

Just saw the first episode and I find this one's drawing me in alot quickly like the first season did. The reality show format is a cool way of telling the story with reenactments and interviews interspersed throughout the episode.

I'm not sure if this counts, but I think Alien works very well as a horror movie. Creepy atmosphere of dark, confined spaces with nothing around but blinking lights and killer aliens. I'd rank it up there with Elm Street and Ju-On.

I hear the Killing Joke parts were adapted relatively faithfully, but for the first half hour is a Batgirl movie to try and give her more to do than get shot. The Batgirl section got alot more mixed reception because of the role Batman plays in it.

Bojack Horseman is the only one I fully keep up with, but it takes forever to watch cause I have to be in the mood to sit down and power through it.

I forgot they remade the 80's The Thing recently. I was going off how Carpenter took an obscure 50's horror movie and transformed it into its own movie that everyone loved. Can't imagine that the new one is as close to what Carpenter did with it. Same thing with The Fly and Scarface which were ancient films that were reinvented years later into something much more substantial to pop culture.

Finished up Stranger Things recently, so since then I've been picking at Twin Peaks, Portlandia, some of Mr. Robot, and misc anime.

I'm glad that not too many movies I get nostalgic about were remade, but alot of them aren't very good.
The trick is to pick a movie that's either meh or unremarkable to remake so that the new one can blow it out of the water like True Grit, or for older examples, Scarface & The Thing.
Too many studios think remaking iconic films is what will grab the nostalgia dollar, but it just makes people angry, and never captures what made the original movies good. I don't get wound up or upset by remakes, but most of the time they just unnecessarily try to fix something that was never broken, further breaking it as a result.
